Lisa Lockland-Bell #SheInspires

April 13, 2017

Lisa Lockland-Bell is an Authority in Vocal Communication. Her ability to Diagnose, Heal and Reveal the potential that lies within each human voice is Spectacular.

A respected Keynote Speaker, Vocal Coach, Author and Thought Leader: With over three decades of experience, her unique perspective on vocal communication forms the foundation for her skill based speaking and training programs: challenging individuals to develop their Vocal Intelligence, Brand and ability to Monetise their voices.  Her strategies are innovative yet simple, with a clear framework that are unique to Speaking within the New World.

Lisa took part in a Program called VolounTOURing whereby participants fundraise for our organisation called the Australian Cervical Cancer Foundation then challenge themselves to go on one of our trips to see our programs in action and so they can see for themselves where their fundraising money goes.

If you want to have an experience like Lisa just had in Nepal registrations for the next trip to Vietnam are now open. Click here for full event info!

What did you want to be when you were a child? Singer.

What are you most proud of? Staying true to who I am.

Which person inspires you the most? This changes all of the time. The Dalai Lama is always top of the list though.

What has been a life changing moment for you? After having Cancer twice, you might presume I say surviving disease… but at the moment it is trekking in Nepal.

What drives you? Changing lives. I am driven by the understanding that every vocal tone has a purpose. Every nuance and inflection comes from attention and intention; To build relationships, influence and inspire you must build a solid foundation of vocal tones that moves your from just connecting, to where you want your listener to be.

What has been the biggest lesson you have learnt (in life or business)? Be present. Feel every breath. Taste every bite. Listen to your inner voice. Stop looking back. It’s ok to be vulnerable.

What is the best piece of advice you have ever been given and by whom? You have GOT to be bothered. Too, many.

Quote to live by? This too shall pass

What are your top 3 bucket list items? See Mount Everest. Watch my Grand Children. To leave a Vocal Legacy.

What’s your greatest regret? I didn’t know how to look after my mind body and spirit in my developmental years.

What is the key to your happiness? Do things that fill my heart: Cooking beautiful food, buying gorgeous flowers, creating beautiful spaces, pottering about.
