All were introduced by the charming Jack Dann, author and editor of the anthology.

Highly acclaimed Brisbane authors Venero Armanno and Kim Wilkins have stories included in the anthology. Kim Wilkins (Angel of Ruin, Daughters of the Storm) has written over 25 books in many different genres. She is well – known for her historical romances, written under the name -Kimberley Freeman. In this anthology Wilkins spooks readers with a Victorian ghost story.

Hot new writer Rjuik Davidson showcases a world of ice and betrayal. Kirstyn Mc Dermott gives us a dark fairy tale – inspired story about witches in ‘Burnt Sugar’ and Jason Narung takes us to an outback world full of strange magic.

Angela Slatter (award winning author of ‘ The Girl with No Hands and Other Tales’) has written a beautiful piece based on clearing out a grandmother’s house after her death. The elegant Janeen Webb shares a spooky hospital ghost story. The multi – talented Paul Brandon has written an evocative story about falling angels. Paul and his wife Sarah Calderwood (Aria nominated musician) entertained the audience with songs’ Fade Away’, ‘Beautiful You’ and Massive Attack’s ‘ Teardrops’. What a wonderful surprise for those of us who attended.
